Bleimes Family History

INTRODUCTION

One accepted way of writing a family history is to just start with one’s self and work back through time, so that is the approach to be used here. But note well – there is no guarantee of an error-free story. Official documents can occasionally contain erroneous entries, and eyewitness memories warp over time. Even bible records are not always 100% accurate. And some people lie. So bear with me while I tell it as I see it.

At least one apology is due the reader: Some charts serving as endnotes were originally computer-generated from a genealogical program that is now obsolete. Its conventions do not jibe with today’s form and substance. Therefore the forms have been tweaked and bent to append the main text. There are some clumsy spots and some odd appearances. Surnames are capitalized, excepting married females whose maiden name is unknown. You can do your own interpolations/interpretations. – And please, do not call me about any imbedded errors in this area.

Other than my own – no names of living persons have been mentioned.
